President's Cup shock for champs

Goal-machine Hall Park Hotel pulled off a massive win in the semi-finals of the Workington & District Sunday League’s President’s Cup.
The leading division one side thumped premiership champions Northside 5-1 to book a place in the final.
In league Hall Park have hammered in 48 goals in just eight games and maintained their high-scoring rate in the cup.
In the President’s Cup final, which is likely to be played at Grasslot, they will take on Aspatria side Red Lion.
Getting the goals for Hall Park against Northside were Kevin Connelly (2), David Dustin, Scott Gorman and Paul White with Stefan Scott scoring for Northside.
Sunday’s premier match against Red Lion and Senhouse was postponed but there was action in the first and second divisions.
In division one, Crosby were 4-1 winners over of Miners Arms with Phil Dixon (2), Chris Horsley and Michael Neesham on target for Crosby.
Division two saw Real Red House defeat Waverley 5-1. David Knowles scored for the home while Jonny Donat (2), Brendan Wilkinson (2) and Ryan Blair got the goals for Real. And the victory confirmed Real Red House at the division two champions.
Fixtures League Cup final at Borough Park, Workington, 2pm ko: Northside v Golden Lion.
Premier: Red Lion v Senhouse Street.
Division one: Crosby v Deer Orchard.
