Seaton are dominant in close game

SEATON U12s came out on top against Egremont on Sunday in what was a hard fought and keenly contested match.

Seaton 16 Egremont 12

Seaton dominated the opening exchanges and due to some excellent work from the forwards they made a lot of yards downfield.

This resulted in three tries for the home team, two scored by Bradley Lawrence and the other by Zach Houston, although none of the tries were converted.

Seaton picked up where they had left off in the first half, after the break and were too strong for the Egremont defence, Lawrence crossing over again to complete his hat-trick. However, Egremont responded well with a converted try with 10 minutes remaining.

The Seaton defence had to stand firm in the face of an Egremont onslaught and managed to prevent the visitors from coming back into the match. Egremont eventually managed to score another converted try right on the final whistle which ended an excellent game.
