Nine teams from West Cumbrian schools showed off their footballing skills at the weekend in Cockermouth.
Cockermouth Junior Football Club organised the event with around 65 youngsters from Year 1 and Year 2 taking part.
It was a huge success with the club's spokesman Conor Cooke saying they now hope to make it an annual event.
"This was the first time we have ran this tournament but we will be running it again next year," he confirmed.
"It was a great day with lots of youngsters involved.
"We wanted to organise this to encourage more players from local schools to come down to our club and join in and hopefully it has done that."
Teams from primary schools including Lorton, Fairfield and All Saints, Cockermouth, Eaglesfield Paddle, St Bridget's Brigham, Broughton and Seaton Academy all competed.
It was run as a friendly tournament with no overall winner just enjoyment throughout.
The club also thanked Sainsbury's for donating water and fruit for all the youngsters.
