The Smurfit Kappa Premier League Wednesday saw Aspatria hit Carlisle City for six without reply with a Malcolm Graham hat trick, a brace from Sean Law and Mark Irwin completing the scoring.

Wigton Harriers made the short trip to Silloth and came away with all the points’ 2-1with goals from Dan Stockdale and Johnny Studholme, with Calum Casson getting the home side’s goal.

Netherhall and Cleator Moor Celtic shared the points with a 1-1 score, Darren Rule for Netherhall and Robbie Bagley replying for Celtic.

Saturday saw Aspatria travel to Cleator Moor Celtic and edge it by the odd goal in seven 3-4, a Wayne Iredale brace and one each for Sean Law and Richard Hudson with Dan Graham (2) and Adam Meagan replying for Celtic.

Silloth edged Cockermouth 3-2 at home with goals from Andy Hardman, Ellis Guardhouse and Shaun Clarke, with Luke Graham and Dan Burns getting the visitor’s goals.

Bransty Rangers got their season on track with a 2-0 victory on the road to Whitehaven Miners, with a brace from Jamie Thursby.

Windscale entertained Gosforth and went down 1-0, Kieran Glaister getting the visitors’ winner.

Unisun struck the same score line against visitors Gosforth 3-1, a Shane Dorward brace and 1 from David Osbourne for Unisun with Jack Denwood replying for Gosforth.
