Smurfit Kappa Premier League newcomers Cockermouth battled their way to a shock 2-2 draw at the home of champions Netherhall.

The home side dominated the first period and after missing numerous chances, took a 1-0 half-time lead through Gary Pearson.

The visitors drew level with a 30-yard screamer from Reagan Tinnion.
