Another weekend of Workington Sunday League action saw teams put on a show despite the rain with high-scoring contests galore.

Deer Orchard put four past Grasslot in the Premier League, with Luke Graham bagging a brace, Rob Cox adding another and the hosts scoring an own goal to compound their misery, although they did get a consolation goal.

Sun Inn edged a five-goal game at Pack Horse, with Craig Wilson scoring two and Brad Williamson adding another as they won 3-2.

Kurt Scott's hat-trick inspired Northside to a 6-2 win at Senhouse Street Club as Jamie Bramley added a brace and Lee Wolfe got on the scoresheet, while Terry Warrior and Nathan Brash scored for the home side.

Broughton's game against Blue Bell was off.

In Division One, a brace for Keith Skillen and a goal for Liam Taylor were not enough to save Highfield as they succumbed to a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Maryport United. Jordan Trimble scored two for the visitors, while Luke Herring, Sean Boal, Josh Gartland and Adam Kirkbride all chipped in.

Red House stormed to a 6-1 win at Maryport Labour Club, led by Gary O'Driscoll's hat-trick but helped by Anthony Hill, Grant Quale and Liam Suitor.

Sun Inn Athletic were beaten 7-0 at home by Seaton Royal Oak, with Kyle Teadale, Nathan Nowak, Darren Heron and Shane Tallantire the scorers.

Gaslight and Salterbeck ground out a 0-0 draw.

Silloth Albion's match against Workington Reds Juniors was off.

Meanwhile, Broughton have resigned from the league.
