Supermoto ace Chris Hodgson took a big step toward his 11th British Championship title as he went unbeaten in the third round at Rowrah at the weekend.
Chris, 28, of Maryport, held on to top spot in the championship standings with six vital wins, including one last-gasp victory over Wigan-based rider Matt Winstanley.
Despite tricky conditions as the weather turned sour on Sunday, Chris showed his class to adapt.
He said: "It was a perfect weekend really.
"I won all three on the Saturday by about 10 seconds in each race.
"Then on Sunday it was a bit harder because of the wet track but I still won all three.
"It was a big step at the weekend so I just have to keep that consistency now for the rest of the season.
"On Sunday, Matt Winstanley led most of the first race but I just pipped him with two laps to go.
"The next round is at a very tight, technical track which is similar to Rowrah so I'm looking forward to it."
Supermoto is raced on a circuit that alternates between flat track, motocross and road racing using purpose-built motorcycles.
