The Tommy Roe Memorial Mixed Pairs Tournament at Whitehavenwas played on Saturday, June 24.
This tournament was won by David Forster and Tina Smitham of Workington BC who defeated Vicky Forster and Steven Cook, also of Workington BC, in the final.
Workington Ladies Triples Tournament on Sunday, June 25 saw 11 teams from around the county take part.
The tournament was sponsored by John Park in memory of his late wife Jean, who was a member of Workington BC.
The winning team was that of Jeanette Reay, Vicky Forster and Rachel Forster and the runners-up were Marion Gregory, Pat Williams and Joyce Hodgson – all from Workington BC.
