Sporting heroes in the district will be recognised at The Wave Centre, Maryport, on October 31.
Paul Nixon, a former England cricketer, will be the guest speaker.
Several top performers are set to receive trophies after another stunning 12 months of local sport.
Co-ordinated by Allerdale council, the ceremony will also reward those who give up their spare time to help others succeed.
Categories for awards include Sports Person, Junior Sports Person, Coach of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Young Leader, Performance by a person with a disability, Special Award, Team of the Year and Rising Stars.
Individual category winners will be put forward to the County Sports Awards, which are due to take place in November.
People have until midnight on Friday, September 25 to nominate their local sporting heroes.
