Seaton Juniors United have an unblemished record in their new West Cumbria Youth League campaign.

They continued their early season form with a 5-1 home win over Whitehaven Miners Social.

Cleator Moor Celtic Under-12s are also unbeaten. The green and whites top the U12 table after two weeks, beating close rivals Whitehaven AFC Juniors Blues 2-1 on Saturday.

Celtic had the better of the first half leading 1-0 at half time with a goal from Ben McCarron.

But the second half saw Blues up the pressure and when Harvey Law was brought down in the box it was Callum Wilson who drew the teams level, despite the best efforts of Celtic keeper Gio Clarke.

The winner came from Celtic's Romeo Park who stabbed the ball home to see his side take the points.

Whitehaven AFC Yellows and Seaton Athletic had a close game with nothing to choose between the two sides, the game ending in a 4-4 draw.

Callum Leeson opened the scoring for Amateurs but Seaton led 2-1 at the break.

Leeson again scored for Amateurs to level the game but Seaton regained the advantage to lead 4-2.

Leeson then converted a penalty for his hat-trick and Kylan Thompson scored for Amateurs to level the match 4-4.

Seaton scorers were Josh Lettice with two and one apiece for Ross Murphy and Luke Carruthers.

St Bees had a convincing win over Senhouse Stars but their opponents put up a fight before going under 9-4.

And the last U12 game saw Maryport AFC travel to Workington Wolves and come away with a 6-2 win.

Moving to the U13 league, Bransty Rangers rattled up 16 goals against Maryport Athletic, who replied with six of their own.

Cockermouth Juniors also found the back of the net with an 11-1 victory over Workington Reds Juniors' Black side.

Table toppers Dearham Rangers kept their unbeaten record with an 8-2 victory over Workington Reds Juniors' Whites while Senhouse Stars and St Bees played out a 3-3 draw.

On Sunday, Workington Rangers opened their campaign with a 9-0 win over Windscale.

Seaton Juniors and St Bees had a close encounter in the U14 division with Seaton just edging the clash 2-1.

It was more clear cut for Bransty Rangers as they recorded a 17-1 scoreline at Workington Reds Juniors.

Workington Wanderers Whites beat Aspatria 7-3 while Cleator Moor Celtic scored three without reply at Maryport.

In the final game, Cockermouth Juniors got the better of Whitehaven Miners Social 3-1.

In the U16 division, Workington Reds Juniors' White side drew 3-3 with Cleator Moor Celtic's U16 side.

Whitehaven AFC's U16s were on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline against Maryport Athletic while Bransty Rangers triumphed 8-0 over Cockermouth Juniors.

In the girls league, at under-12, Allerdale got the better of Whitehaven AFC 7-0 while Amateurs' Blue side drew 1-1 with Cockermouth Juniors.

Workignton Reds Diamonds edged out Amateur's Yellow side 2-1.

In the U14 girls division, Whitehaven AFC U13s won 5-1 at home to Cockermouth Juniors and Workington Reds Diamonds beat Whitehaven's U14 side 8-2.
