Three West Cumbrian swimmers have made it into finals at the British Championships tonight.

Cockermouth's Edward Baxter will compete in the Target Tokyo men's 200m breaststroke final, after getting through his heat in a time of 2:15.62.

Luke Greenbank will go for gold in the Target Tokyo men's 100m butterfly. He qualified in a time of 54.30.

Whitehaven's Anna Newlands is also in action as she made it through to the Target Tokyo women's 200m backstroke final in a time of 2:16.26.


The trio have all spent time under the guidance of Cockermouth ASC coaches.
