Silloth's Dave and Lynn Lawson dominated in the year's first Fleet Challenge at Bassenthwaite.
The Lawsons' GP14 won three of the four races to finish comfortably ahead of Val and Ken Bell, of Loweswater and first of the 14 craft which took part.
The fleet was depleted as members competed in the annual Lord Birkett Trophy at Ullswater, with Mark Somerville and Joe Roberts doing Bassenthwaite proud in their RS400 by finishing 21st out of 230 entries.
Thursday night was also the 10th round of the Night Jar series, with the GP14 of Deanscales' Mike Fairlamb and Eric Smith of Dalston winning both the Fleet and personal handicap categories.
