THE six-event fell series came to its finale at Fangs Brow with a good win by Martin Amor, a minute ahead of the overall league winner, Michael Noblett.
Second overall Neil Hamblin was fourth on the night, choosing a good route up onto Burnbank Fell and gaining time on the field.
Charlotte Watson ended up fifth overall, a brilliant effort for this youngster, and with a very creditable 11th on the night.
Paul Richardson and Sam Johnstone kept their positions intact in the final overall league, first and second on the short course, after an easy win by Richardson on the night. Hannah Bethwaite was sixth overall in the short league.
With the lighter evenings West Cumberland Orienteering Club starts its summer series.
There are long, short and starter courses, which will suit all runners. Details of the orienteering can be found on the website www.lakes-o.freeserve.co.uk and close to each Thursday, on the answerphone 01768 895539.
