A MOUNTAIN bike leader course that would normally cost £170 is being offered free at Netherhall School Specialist Sports College.
The course is designed to train bike leaders in non technical or trail terrain.
Previous experience is not essential but some knowledge of preparing for rides, navigation, repair skills and group work will be useful.
There is a minimum age limit of 18. An up to date First Aid Certificate would be beneficial but training can be provided.
The course will be held on February 11 (6pm-9pm), 12 (9am-9pm) and 13 (9am-5pm).
Six free places are available. For more details contact Chris Wright 07789991774. Closing date is February 8.
