John takes Wednesday league

MARYPORT Golf Club’s Wednesday league winner was John Wong with 79-14-65 in a card play-off from Garry Carruthers (71-6-65).
There was a card play-off in Greggains Competition between Alan Bates and Tom J McAvoy both with 41 point.
The Vice Captain’s Prize was won by Billy Mossom with 39 points from James Milligan on 37.
The Lady Vice Captain’s Prize was won by Joan Varah with 38 points and second in a card play-off was Wendy Wright with 35.
