Will Bowe, Mark Cowen and Robert Wareing - the team captain - are taking on the best club sides from every county in England.

Bowe, Cowen and teenager Seb Crookall-Nixon won the title last year.

This year’s English Champion Club final is being staged at Woodbridge Golf Club, Suffolk, tomorrow and Sunday.

Each day each player will complete 18 holes of strokeplay and their scores will be added together for a team total.

Workington reached the English final by winning the Cumbria competition.

At that stage Brad Hannah was part of the Workington team but he has now begun a golf scholarship in the United States and Wareing has taken his place.
