Trio take medals at Cumbria Open

THREE members of the Workington-based RJK Judo Club were medal winners at the Cumbria Open Judo Championships at the Sands Centre, Carlisle, on Sunday.

Matthew Wilson won gold in the U90 kilo kyu section while Chris Morgan took gold in the U73 kilo kyu secton.
And there was a bronze medal for Tony Lock in the U81 kilo dan grade category.
More than 300 competitors from Scotland, northern England and the Midlands took part in various weights.
There was some outstanding judo throughout the day, particularly in the dan grades.
