TWO silvers topped by a gold was the medal tally for three fighters from a Workington judo club at an international event in Scotland.
The Ry-Ju-Kwai Judo Club trio beat off competition from Ukraine, Russia, Holland, Egypt and Britain to win medals at the International Judo Federation event in Dumfries.
Lee MacDonald took gold and Matthew Wilson won silver in the under-90 kilo class while Craig Hunter brought home silver from the under-100 kilo competition.
All three fought well, gaining excellent experience against different judo styles specially from the Ukraine and Russian fighters.
The Ry-Ju-Kwai Judo Club is based at Workington Police Club and is open to any men and women interested in taking up the martial art.
