WEST Cumbria’s world rally driver Matthew Wilson has signed on with a major sponsor of motorsport, Airwaves.
He joins the Airwaves Pro line-up which includes Shane Byrne and Leon Camier, who ride for Airwaves Ducatic in Biritish Superbikes.
Also in the Pro line up is Katie Clements, team principal of the A1 Team GBR car racing outfit.
All three motorsport sponsorships will form a new look Airwaves Pro campaign which aims to inspire people to fulfil their dreams. Its slogan is KICK UP A GEAR.
Airwaves, part of the Wrigley’s chewing gum brand, has been the title sponsors of the Airwaves Ducati British Superbike team since 2005, providing a high level association with the world's premier national bike championship.
Former MotoGP rider Byrne leads British Superbikes by 97 points and team-mate Camier is in third overall.
Clements led A1 Team GBR to a third place finish last season, with A1 Team GBR also the first A1GP to win on home soil.
