Disappointing numbers at trails

THE PREMIER trails went ahead on a breezy damp afternoon.

The number of hounds taking part was rather disapointing. The biggest slip of the afternoon was 63 in the open restricted making a total of 188.

Mayfair only managed fourth on Saturday but with another win last Monday she is becoming a serious championship contender.
