Fans of Workington Reds will have the chance to play on the hallowed Borough Park pitch this weekend.

The club is holding an open day on Sunday from 11am to 5pm.

The day will include a fans match, kicking off at 3pm.

Anyone can register by calling Alan Airey on 017687 76582 or by speaking to him at tomorrow’s match.

Alternatively, people can register on the day of the event.

Kits will be provided for the match and it costs £10 per player.

The event will also feature a question and answer session with chairman Glenn Heathcote and manager Derek Townsley.

Reds’ kit for the new season will be revealed.

Other activities include a bouncy Castle, fastest shot game, junior and ladies coaching sessions, walking football, and a tombola.
