WORKINGTON Reds' dream of a play-off place hit another setback as they lost 2-0 at Nantwich Town.
The Dabbers picked up a goal in each half with Shotton on target three minutes before half time and then Hancock stretching their lead on 56 minutes.
Scott Allison had a couple of chances but Reds failed to put any in the back of the net.
And to add further woe, Ashton United won 2-0 against Rushall Olympic to move four points clear of Reds in the final play-off slot ahead of their meeting on Saturday.
Stourbridge, in fourth place, drew 1-1 at Matlock Town.
