Workington Reds ladies were elated after clinching the County Cup for the first time with a 1-0 win over Carlisle United.

It completed a unique treble with Workington AFC now the proud holder of three Cumberland FA titles.

The Reserves set the ball rolling in July when they lifted the revamped U21 trophy and then Reds held aloft the Senior Cup and the Ladies have now won the women’s equivalent.

Reds keeper Laura Miller was in fine form, making some fantastic saves to thwart the Carlisle attack.

It was Hayley Bracken's goal in the 15th minute that separated the two sides at the end of the game at Gillford Park.
