Workington Reds moved up to third place in the Evo Stik premier league after a narrow victory over Grantham on Saturday.
Conor Tinnion was the key man yet again as his goal proved to be the difference between the two sides.
The clash was the only match to go ahead in the league due to the weather and Reds took full advantage of the situation to get points in the bag.
They will now turn their attention to the League Cup once more on Tuesday night as they welcome Clitheroe to Borough Park.
