The romance of the cup will fittingly be in the air as Cleator Moor Celtic look to pull off an upset against Cumberland Cup holders Workington Reds tonight (7.45pm kick-off).

Reds come into the quarter final clash in a rich vein of form at Borough Park, having lost just once at home in 2017, but Celtic knocked Carlisle United out of the competition in the second round so are no strangers to a giant-killing.

Manager Dene White has a fully fit squad to pick from and first team secretary Herbert Briggs believes they are more than capable of pulling off a shock and going on to win the cup.

He said: "We are ready for it.

"Obviously when we beat Carlisle, they have won it four years out of the last six so we have knocked the best side out of the competition, and that is no disrespect to Workington because they are the current holders.

"There is no reason we can't go on and win it but every team will be thinking that.

"When we seem to be favourites, we tend to go into the games with a bit of trepidation but down at Borough Park there's no pressure on us whatsoever.

"Nobody else will be giving us a hope because we're in their backyard."
