Workington Reds boss Lee Andrews said they were not worried about the league table ahead of their home clash with Mickleover Sports today, ko 3pm.

Reds currently lie in fifth place in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier, just outside of the play-off berths.

But Andrews said neither he or joint manager Dave Hewson were concerned at this point in the season.

"I know it is an old cliche but we are just looking to our next game," said Andrews.

"We know what we have to do at the end of the day and we will look more closely at the league table towards the start of April.

"Then we will know what is required of us at that point."

They go into today's match boosted by the return of prolific goalscorer Scott Allison, skipper Gari Rowntree and playmaker Joe McGee.

And they will be hoping to put Tuesday's night's league cup exit at the hands of Clitheroe out of their minds.

Instead the managers want to see a repeat of last Saturday's form when they beat then league leaders Rushall Olympic.

And Andrews admitted that one of the most pleasing things about that win was keeping a clean sheet as their defence tightened up.

"We were more delighted with the clean sheet than the two goals I think," he added.

"We have let some sloppy goals in this season so it is important that we put that right.

"We looked at the video of the goals from the Blyth match because it highlighted a problem we have had all season.

"We deal with the first ball but not the second and third, we seem to switch off. Probably all of those goals were preventable.

"So the lads were made aware of the problems and they came back with a clean sheet."
