Workington Reds boss Derek Townsley admitted they might be ringing the changes to try and find a winning formula this weekend.

Reds have lost their last two Evo Stik Northern Premier clashes and welcome newcomers Coalville Town to Borough Park on Saturday.

Townsley said the management team will make changes if they think they are necessary to get back on track.

"We might look to shuffle the pack this weekend, given the two previous league performances," said Townsley.

"I know we can't do that a great deal because we don't have a squad of 20 plus players but we can look to changes things a little.

"We just want to find that winning formula again."

Townsley said they were not targeting any new players at present and believes the players he has can pull the club back on course.

And he said the losses to Stourbridge and Hednesford just proved how tough a league it is this year.

"If you look at results in the league, everyone is hanging out for consistency, and to put a run of games together," he added.

"This is a very good league and there are some tough games and none of us have the god given right to just win every game.

"Obviously we are disappointed given the last two results but they were also against two sides that I think will be up there come the end of the season.

"But we are not looking for excuses as I imagine Spennymoor will also be up there and we turned them over.

"No team likes to concede, especially in the manner we have conceded recently and we are looking to rectify that but this is a tough, tough league."

The club is still waiting for an update on defender Sam Smith, who damaged his ankle.

And Conor Tinnion will return to the squad after missing last weekend through suspension.
