Workington Reds leapfrogged visitors Marine in the Evo Stik Northern Premier League after a convincing 4-0 victory at Borough Park.
Reds are now up to 14th in the table after the home win and boosts their confidence ahead of Saturday's visit of Corby Town.
Workington got off to the best possible start with a great strike from Scott Allison put them 1-0 ahead with just minutes on the clock.
Elliot Newby stepped up to put a penalty away shortly after and Reds contained their visitors to make it 2-0 at half time.
Into the second half and a Conor Tinnion header extended their lead before new signing Jack Ryan put away a second penalty.
And great performances from Kyle May and James Earl contributed to a superb all-round showing with Reds also delighted to keep a clean sheet.
