NEW: Reds match tonight

WORKINGTON Reds take on Alfreton at Borough Park tonight.

The match has been re-arranged from later in the month at Alfreton's request because of their commitments in the Derbyshire County Cup.

Reds chairman Humphrey Dobie said that though the Borough Park pitch is still "soft" it is playable.

Saturday's home game against Worcester, which had to be postponed because the pitch was waterlogged, has yet to be re-scheduled.

Dobie said Worcester may seek permission from the FA to play after the official end of the Blue Square North season on April 26, though he doubted that the FA will agree.

Whenever the match is played it will be something of a headache - and muscleache - for Reds as they already face seven games this month.

Kick-off for tonight's match is 7.45pm.
