Cockermouth Ruby Club is throwing a party to celebrate the start of the Rugby World Cup tonight.
To coincide with England’s first group game against Fiji, the club is throwing a World Cup fancy dress party.
People are invited to come along dressed in any of the nation’s competing national costumes.
The match between England and Fiji will be shown on TV. The game kicks off at 8pm, with the club open from 7pm.
There will also be a barbecue, various competitions, including a chance to win a rugby ball signed by the England team and a family camping trip.
A club spokesman said: "This is the first of our Rugby World Cup events. We’ll be holding another party night when the final is on too, hopefully with England competing."
