Jamie Doran and Stevie Scholey mopped up at this year's Workington Town awards night.

Doran claimed four trophies on the night, with Scholey adding a hat-trick of titles, with former Great Britain and Bradford Bulls star Leon Pryce the guest on the night.

Scholey was the peoples' choice, winning the vote to become News & Star Readers' player of the year.

The hard-working prop is also the Workington Town supporters' Club player of the year and the Derwent Park Supporters' Club player of the year.

Doran clinched the Fred Todhunter Memorial Trophy for Travellers Rest Supporters' Club player of the year and also won the try of the year.

He also picked up the 2017 player of the year and one of the top accolades, the players' player of the year.

The Young Supporters' player of the year was a joint award recognising the efforts of Joe Hambley and Gordon Maudling.

Hambley picked up a second award for the top try scorer while Maudling also lifted the Eric Easterbrook Trophy for most improved player.

Carl Forber was the season's top points scorer while the most influential player on the field went to Stuart Howarth.

The John Bentley Trophy for coaches' player of the year went to Perry Singleton.

The final trophy was for directors' clubman of the year and this went to Scott Graham and Casson Kirkbride who share the Frank Gilmour Memorial Shield.
