Kyle Shelford will rejoin the Workington Town ranks ahead of their clash with Hemel Stags on Sunday.
Shelford is back at Derwent Park on loan from World Club champions Wigan Warriors to boost Dave Clark's squad.
The former England Academy captain spent a short spell with Town earlier this season before heading back to Wigan but he is now returning.
The loose-forward will provide extra cover in the pack, as experienced prop Kris Coward is sidelined with a knee problem.
"Kris has picked up a knee injury which will require further investigation," admitted Town's director of rugby Les Ashe.
"But we have Kyle back from Wigan, although he is likely to be the only player from the Warriors available because of their injury problems.
"He will go straight into contention and we are lucky to have him."
Other than long term injury problems, coach Dave Clark should have a full squad to choose from for the long trip.
Town will travel down tomorrow and have a final captain's run at Hemel before playing the League 1 encounter on Sunday.
And Ashe says Town just need to get back in the winning habit, starting at Hemel.
"The coaching staff will have done their homework on Hemel," he added.
"Now we have got to get into the winning habit as that breeds success and we want to start this weekend."
