The kit, which will be worn by Town in the derby against Whitehaven on July 17, will help to raise funds for Melanoma UK.
The shirt, pictured right, will be available to pre-order from today by emailing barry.scholey@townrlfc.co.uk, by calling the club on 01900 603609 or from the club website www.townrlfc.com
Wilf’s family said: ‘We as a family were delighted and honoured to have a match and shirt in memory to Wilf. He was a lifelong supporter and former chairman and board member.’
The shirt was designed by his 13- year-old grandson Harrison.
Melanoma UK is a small charity which offers help, support, dedicated nurses and research into Melanoma skin cancer and supported the Harrison family.
