Over 100 rugby mad youngsters descended on Derwent Park last week as Workington Town opened their doors.
Town coach Dave Clark came up with the idea of asking local youngsters from amateur clubs along to train with the team.
And the idea was a huge success as 105 junior players from eight different amateur clubs attended.
They were aged between six and 16 with Seaton Rangers, Broughton Red Rose, Cockermouth Titans, Aspatria Hornets, Great Clifton Lions, Maryport, Glasson Rangers and Wath Brow Hornets all represented.
Town's community manager, Marnie Jackson, said: "Dave is very keen to help develop youth rugby and after seeing our Easter camps he suggested bringing them down to train with the players.
"All the lads came down slightly earlier and played some games with the kids. They all went home with a team picture, merchandise vouchers and special offers.
"But the day was really about getting the players involved with the kids and it was a great success."
Some of the youngsters then returned on Sunday to act as mascots for Workington Town's game with Doncaster.
