Workington Town played out a 10-10 draw with fellow Cumbrians Barrow in their opening pre-season friendly at Craven Park.
After snow had been cleared from the pitch the two sides began to battle it out.
Town took the lead courtesy of a Declan Hulme try but Barrow levelled matters with a Chris Hankinson try.
Workington took the lead in at the break, as Sam Forrester touched down and Carl Forber converted for 10-4.
But then, seven minutes from time, Barrow equalised as Brad Marwood bagged a try, with Hankinson converting to make it 10-10 and that was how it ended.
Town must now prepare for their Ike Southward Memorial Trophy encounter with neighbours Whitehaven on Saturday night at the Recreation Ground.
