STAND-UP star Craig Campbell brings his new tour Easy Tiger to Cumbria this spring.

The Canadian-born funnyman heads to the Carnegie Theatre, in Workington, on Saturday May 5 as part of his nationwide run.

Campbell, who has supported Frankie Boyle's national tours three times, has also performed on BBC One's Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow and Russell Howard's Good News.

This internationally-acclaimed comedian - now based in the UK - is one of stand-up's most charismatic and inventive performers with hilarious tales of globetrotting adventure never failing to impress.

Adorned in a tiger-striped onesie, Campbell brings his new show out of the Fringe jungle and onto the world stage for his third solo tour.

In Spring 2011, Campbell toured nationally in his own right with Craig Campbell Live, extended twice due to popular demand, notching up over 120 dates nationwide. The tour also formed the basis for his first live DVD.

He first appeared alongside Tony Law and Dan Antopolski as part of comedy trio The Dinks. Their debut Edinburgh show in 2003 was both a critical and box office success, leading to an invitation to perform in the Best Of Edinburgh programme in New York.

Once the notorious host of Canada’s legendary Ed’s Night Party, Campbell has appeared as a featured guest live with Jim Carrey and on Mountain Madness with Dennis Miller, as well as starring on Just For Laughs and in an episode of his own CBC Comics.

Since relocating to the new home he loves in Devon UK, he has appeared as presenter of Sky One’s hit series From Wimps to Warriors, and appeared across the channels on various shows.

Craig Campbell brings Easy Tiger to the Carnegie Theatre on Saturday May 5, from 8pm, and tickets are available from the venue's box office.
