A prize-winning cellist will be playing in Cockermouth later this month.
Laura van der Heijden, 20, will be playing at the United Reformed Church, Main Street, on Tuesday, September 19, at 7.30pm.
At the age of 15 she was awarded the title of BBC Young Musician 2012, she now plays with the London Mozart Players and orchestras all over Europe.
She will be playing with pianist Martin Roscoe.
The concert has been organised by Cockermouth Music Society.
Tickets cost £17 (accompanied children free) and are available from Billy Bowman's Music Shop on Lowther Went.
