HIGHLY-RATED Manchester DJ Mason Maynard is set to headline a free Halloween weekend show in West Cumbria.

The young house and techno star, who has been tipped by leading production duo Solardo as 2017's "One to Watch", will appear at Thirty Two, in Workington, on Saturday October 28.

With a scene as vast in Manchester there are few young emerging artists that have secured the support and backing from some of the biggest names in the industry like Mason.

Only 21 years of age, he has already began to build a name for himself, from his first-ever production back in 2016 he has secured himself as a Solardo Sessions resident playing up and down the country in some of the most well-respected clubs such as Mangle E8, Faversham Leeds, Stealth Nottingham and more.

With big gigs lined up at The Warehouse Project on Boxing Day, and releases forthcoming on Defected Records he has been receiving support from Solardo, Lee Foss, Skream, Richy Ahmed, Danny Howard, Green Velvet and Hot Since 82.

The day before he appears in Workington, Mason releases his latest EP on Defected Records - Dance features three of his original tracks.

Joining him at Thirty Two will be a host of local names, with Matt Reid and Dan Barrientos going back-to-back, and Cam Smith, Lewis Wood and Billy Hunter completing the line-up.

The show runs from 9pm, and entrance is free.
