ITALIAN rockers Why Everyone Left will be returning to West Cumbria to headline a pop punk night this weekend.

The Modena-based five-piece appear at Workington's Lounge 41 on Saturday September 23, joined by Barrow band Fight For Friday.

They played at the Jane Street venue on their first-ever UK tour last June, and are back by popular demand as they undergo another five-date run on these shores.

Influenced by A Day to Remember, State Champs, and Four Year Strong, their tracks mix the catchy and melodic sound of pop-punk with a hardcore and metalcore edge.

They released their debut EP, Stake Everything, in 2013, but it was a cover of Accidentally In Love, by Counting Crows, a year later that saw them achieve wider fame.

Since then they have shared the stage with the likes of Zebrahead, Bury Tomorrow, Four Year Strong, Knuckle Puck and As It Is.

Last autumn, the video for their cover of the Friends theme song gave them their biggest online audience so far, and shortly after they began a crowdfunding campaign for a new single.

In April this year, Why Everyone Left signed with Australia-based Penultimate Records, before launching their brand-new single, Still Golden, in July.

Since the track was released, the band have been in the studio working on a new record, and unheard material could possibly feature in their set in Cumbria.

Support act Fight For Friday have been playing shows all over the UK in 2017, as well as appearing at local events such as EskFest and EquiRocks.

Last year they released their second EP, Call Me Old Fashioned, while this summer's shows have centred around the release of their latest single, Neighbourhood Watch.

The show at Lounge 41 on Saturday 23 will start at 9pm, and entrance is free.
