Women’s fashion chain to open Carlisle city centre shop

Value women’s fashion chain Internaçionale has announced it is opening in Carlisle.
It will move into the former Peacocks unit in The Lanes, provisionally on June 27, creating 15 jobs.
Internaçionale aims to “bring catwalk and celeb-inspired looks to the high street at affordable prices”.
It sells women’s clothing in sizes six to 18 and has a teen range, Sophie, offering girls’ clothes for ages eight to 15. None of the garments costs more than £50.
Men’s wear retailer Jack & Jones will move into the former Disney store in The Lanes next month.
Chris Archibald, who runs La Baguette Bar in Green Market, hopes to turn the Jaeger shop next door into a cafe. The shop is due to close on June 9.
