Workington Reds cup game at Penrith called off

Workington's game tonight at Penrith in the third round of the Cumberland County Cup has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
Alec Graham, Reds’ general manager, had been hopeful the game would go ahead after last week’s match was also called off due to waterlogging.
Manager Darren Edmondson had been expected to rotate his squad for the tie, with the team’s focus being on the league.
Mark Boyd was definitely out as he is struggling with a calf injury and Joe Mwasile picked up a knock in the weekend’s 1-1 draw away at Worcester City.
