THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (U2317 THE ENTRANCE, LITTLE BROUGHTON, U2I96 MOCKERKIN AND C2023 HAYTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021

THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (U2317 THE ENTRANCE, LITTLE BROUGHTON, U2I96 MOCKERKIN AND C2023 HAYTON) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Network Plus to carry out utility works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:-
1. U2317 The Entrance, Little Broughton: From its junction with Main Street extending in a south westerly direction for approx. 45m.

Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of The Entrance, Main Street, Harris Brow, Caldron Hill, A66, A595, A594 and U2I70.
From: 16 August 2021 for approx I day (Ret AL2I-333)
2. U2I96 Mockerkin: From its junction with the U2I97 Road extending in a south easterly direction to is junction with the C2030.

Alternative route: via the C2030, A5086 and U2I97. From: 16 August 2021 for approx 3 days (Ret AL21-334)
3. C2023 Hayton: From its junction with the C2024 extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 45m.

Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of the C2023, C2022 and C2024.
From: 25 August 2021 for approx. 3 days (Ret AL21 -344)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained
at all times.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 16 August 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months, However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as specified above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
