(C2038 BRIDEKIRK AND C2030 BRANTHWAITE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021

THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA
(C2038 BRIDEKIRK AND C2030 BRANTHWAITE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Sunbelt Rentals to carry out overhead cable works on behalf of BT ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following lengths of road:
1. C2038 Bridekirk, from its junction with the U2095, extending in a south easterly direction for approx. 75 metres.
Alternative Route: via the unrestricted sections of the C2038, the A595, A594 and theC 2O03.
Duration: From 17 September 2021 for approx. 1 day (Ref: AL2I-379)
2. C2030 Branthwaite, from its junction with the C203I to its junction with the C4006.
Alternative Route: via the C4006, the C2054 and the C2031. Duration: From 20 September 2021 for approx. 1 day (Ref: AL2I-378)
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
(i) Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
(ii) Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
(iii) Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the road; and
(iv) Apply to vehicles being used in connection with the Works. Any queries to the Highways Hotline 0300 303 2992 or email

The Order will come into operation on 17 September 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as stated above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
