One of the biggest events in West Cumbria's business calendar is due to take place today.
Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster's annual showcase at Energus, Lillyhall, will feature speakers including Paul Foster, of Sellafield Ltd, Richard Deakin, of BEIS, Professor John Fyfe, the honorary patron of the business cluster, MP Tim Farron and former cabinet minister Hazel Blears.
There will be exhibits from 70 companies which belong the business cluster, including Brewin Dolphin, Cartmell Shepherd, the Centre for Leadership Performance, Catax, Armstrong Watson and TSP.
The business cluster currently has 330 member companies and organisations.
Tom Scaife, of Baines Wilson LLP and a member of the business cluster management team responsible for organising the event, said: “This event gets bigger each year and is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the strength in depth the county has to offer by way of business support.”
