A WORKINGTON man has been disqualified from driving.
William Mark Collister, 26, of Corporation Road, admitted several charges in a hearing before West Cumbria magistrates.
For taking a VW Golf car in Whitehaven without the consent of the owner, he was given a community order including 40 hours unpaid work and told to pay £85 to fund victim services, and £85 costs.
He was also banned from driving for 12 months.
He also pleaded guilty to using a car on the A595 Hensingham bypass without insurance, and without the correct licence. No separate penalties were imposed.
