Cockermouth Ukuleles will be debuting their tribute to the Times & Star at Cockermouth Alive Again! on Saturday.
The event, at the town's Kirkgate Centre, features a host of local talent and will offer an exclusive taster of what’s in store at the next Cockermouth Live! festival this summer.
Members decided to rerecord Cover of Rolling Stone by Dr Hook as a tribute to the Times & Star and say it will become the group's trademark song.
They have allowed us a sneak preview of the track. To hear it, click on link above.
Tickets for Cockermouth Alive Again! are £8, concessions £5, available from the box office on 01900 826448, Billy Bowman Music at Lowther Went, Cockermouth, or online via www.thekirkgate.com
This year's Cockermouth Live! festival takes place from June 24 to 26.
