A hardy group of West Cumbrian swimmers braved the elements to mark Armistice Day.
Ten people, many in red swimming costumes, took part in a two-minute silence on the shores of Crummock Water, before going for a swim in the rain.
The event was organised by Rosie Taylor and everyone enjoyed some cake after taking the plunge.
