LIDL is recalling three varieties of pate after an incorrect use-by date was printed.
The supermarket chain, which has stores across Cumbria, is urging shoppers to return the Ardeness Pate, Brussels Pate and the Reduced Fat Brussels Pate by Warren & Sons as soon as possible.
Some products either have the wrong use-by date on December 25, 2019 or do not have a date printed on them at all.
The Food Standards Authority said: "If you have bought the above products, do not eat them.
"Instead, return the product to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.
"Other Warren & Sons products are not affected by this recall.
"Lidl GB wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused."
