The West Cumbria branch of Parkinson's UK is inviting its supporters to a its annual coffee morning tomorrow as it marks another good year of public fundraising.

The branch had benefited from customers at Asda lodging their support for its work, resulting in a donation from the store.

It has also held store collections and various other events to generate the cash it needs to run its activities.

A spokeswoman said the group wished to thank everyone who had supported its work during the year.

She added: "It is so important that we can continue to provide classes, and social gatherings for people with Parkinson's and their families."

The coffee morning will be held at the United Reformed Church in Cockermouth tomorrow, November 17.
