Very strong winds are forecast to hit Cumbria later this week, causing disruption.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind.
It starts at 3am on Friday and runs until midnight.
It says: "A spell of very strong winds on Friday could bring some disruption.
"Road, rail, air and ferry services may be affected, with longer journey times and cancellations possible.
"Some roads and bridges may close."
